Volume One Submissions

Health Tomorrow: Interdisciplinarity and Internationality is looking for submissions to publish in our inaugural online volume, scheduled for publication in winter 2011. This journal will be published annually. We will be accepting manuscripts from graduate students and faculty members until our EXTENDED DEADLINE of JUNE 15, 2011.

Each submission will be reviewed anonymously by members of our editorial board, made up of faculty members and graduate students with expertise in the area.Authors who are interested in submitting an article to the journal must first register through our e-journal web portal.Subsequently, complete details and guidelines will be made available and manuscripts will be submitted directly to the website.For the article parameters, please see the Author Guidelines section of our website.Please also refer to the checklist on our submissions page in order to ensure that your manuscript satisfies our guidelines.

We are seeking submissions that have a health equity focus and meet at least one of our five thematic areas: Determinants of Health; Health, Law, Ethics, and Social Justice; Health Behaviour and Health Education over the Lifespan; Health and the Environment; and Access to Health Care: Health Governance and Policy.We encourage the use of a range of theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary orientations.The interdisciplinary nature of the journal means that submissions are welcomed from a broad array of study areas. This includes, but is not limited to, sociology, biology, nursing, psychology, political science, kinesiology, law, economics, or philosophy.
